1What is the difference between a Hostel and a Hotel?
Both options offer accommodation. A Hostel is more focused on young people, where in addition to finding private rooms as a Hotel, you also have the option of shared dorms, it is a way of experiencing coexistence with other travelers, as well as saving on budget for lodging.
2What are Check-in and Check-out times?
-Check-in: from 2:00 PM (an ID or valid passport is required) -Check-out: 12:00 PM (Noon) Reception schedule is from 8:00 AM – 11:30 PM. (If you arrive outside of this time, just send us an email so we are attentive to your arrival).
3If I arrive before Check-in at the Hostel, Can I still access the room?
If your arrive early, we provide a COURTESY service in reception of “Luggage Storage”. In the meantime you can go out and explore the city or stay at the Hostel´s common areas. You can access the room only in the case that the room is already clean and available.
4Are there private rooms with their own private bathroom?
Yes, we have private rooms with their own bathroom, facilities, security box, fan and cable TV.
5Is there a curfew in the Hostel? Can I enter the Hostel even at dawn?
We have staff 24 hours. Just ring the bell, identify yourself and that’s it!
6Is continental breakfast included?
Yes, breakfast is served from 8 am to 10:30 am ( includes: coffee, cereal, fruit, homemade granola, yogurt, bread, cookies, milk, tea and juices).
7Do you provide towels and sheets? Do they have an extra cost?
Towels and sheets are included in the rate.
8Do you have Wi-Fi? Is it accessible in the rooms?
Yes, the network covers the different areas of the Hostel, in addition there is a TV and computer room for guests.
9Do the bedrooms have lockers? Do they have any additional cost?
Safety is a priority, the bedrooms are equipped with lockers (free service). You can bring your own lock or buy one at the reception.
10Do you have an age restrictions?
Children under 18 are welcome in the company of an adult. There is no age restriction for people over 18, however, we clarify that our services are focus on travelers between 18 and 40 years old.
11Is there a kitchen that I can use?
There is a common kitchen equipped at your disposal from 8am to 11pm.
12Can I wash my clothes in the Hostel? Do you have an iron?
Yes, we have laundry service from 9am to 3pm (extra charge), iron and table are available at reception (free of charge).
13Do you have parking (bikes, motorcycles and cars)?
Yes, at HOSPEDARTE Chapultepec we have an assigned area inside the facilities for bikes and motorcycles, for cars there is free public parking on the street. At HOSPEDARTE Downtown we have an assigned area within the facilities for bikes and motorcycles, for cars we have free public parking lot for our guests half a block away (more information at reception). Hospedarte will not be responsible for any theft or damage that may occur to the vehicles.
14Do you have tours and activities organized by the Hostel?
Yes, every day we offer the best and most economical tour to the "Magical Town of Tequila" and to Chapala´s Lake. You can book it at the reception a day prior to the tour. We organized "Walking tours" (Thursdays we party at night in the Chapultepec neighborhood and on Saturdays mornings we visit the downtown area and its gastronomy)
